proving revealed a deviated nasal septum which was not there earlier. On
the other hand another prover who had a deviated nasal septum before the
commencement of the proving manifested its correction at the end of the
proving ?).
FACE.
Shooting pain in the upper jaw at night preventing
sleep.Ulcer on the lower lip.
Eruption around the right corner of the mouth with
tenderness.Perspiration on the face during fever.
MOUTH.
Dryness of mouth with marked thirst.
Excessive salivation with impaired taste.
Small boils on the gums near left upper premolar
tooth, very painful to touch.Small pustular eruptions in the middle of upper lip.
Tongue coated white, yellow ; yellow coating on
the tongue during fever.Bitter taste.
Teeth.
Pain in the teeth and gums with earache, agg. eating,

THROAT.

Female.
Menstruation delayed by 3 days, with excessive
perspiration on the palms ; with scanty leucorrhœal discharge
before the onset of menstruation (for three days).Menstruation early by 7-8 days, blackish-red,
offensive, fish like odour ; colicky pain in lower abdomen on first
day ; with burning of palms and soles ; with burning and
drawing pain in the eyeballs and blurred vision, as if looking through
mist.
COUGH.
Dry cough with irritation. Signs symptoms confirmed
during the second proving.(tickling sensation in the throat), with stitching
pain in the lower chest, diminished (or lack of) appetite ;
increased thirst for cold water, must drink every hour, agg. walking,
coughing, amel. lying down, hot drinks.Cough with pain on left side of the chest ;
thick, yellow expectoration ; redness, pain, itching and watery
discharge from the eyes, agg. early morning, evening.
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM.
Difficult breathing (dyspnœa) (preceded by cough ?).
CHEST.
Burning sensation and tightness in the middle of the
chest with cough.Dull, pressing pain on left side of the chest with
difficulty in breathing after an exposure to damp weather (during damp
weather ?), agg. movement, cold, amel. lying on right side,
drinking hot milk (hot drinks ?).Pain, as if bruised on the right side of the chest,
agg. morning, touch, pressure.Pain on the left side of the chest during cough.

bathing.Sensation of heaviness in the neck, agg. bending
forward, amel. pressure.Perspiration on the neck during fever.
EXTREMITIES.
Eruptions, boils like, pustular, on forearms,
fingers, right hip, knees ; vesicular eruption on dorsum of the
feet, agg. night, scratching, warmth, amel. noon, cold.Itching of extremities, agg. noon, night, heat of
sun, warmth, in bed (heat of), uncovering, scratching, perspiration,
amel. cold, open air, bathing.Profuse perspiration of palms and soles, lasting for
a few minutes.
Upper Extremities.
Bruished feeling and soreness in left arm, agg.
raising arm, pressure, walking ; extending upward, from elbow to
