Member of the Board of
Management of the Hospital 1893-1913.
Always a generous supporter, at his death he bequeathed £ 10,000
to the Hospital to be invested, and the interest only to be used for
maintenance purposes. Mrs. Smart also bequathed £ 5,000
unconditionally.
