Life history

Second among four brothers, he was born
in 1944. The father, a quiet man, was the chief engineer in railways and
had to travel, continuously. The mother, a strict disciplinary, put her
sons in a boarding school. The patient was close to his elder brother. He
finished his schooling in Jodhpur in 1960, and engineering course in
Ranchi in 1966. Thereafter he joined the army, which suited his
personality well. While at training, he married in 1972. In 1978, his
father expired, so had to leave army where he had risen to the position of
being a senior Major at 34 to take up the reigns of the family. He did his
MBA, joined Coats India, and later became MD. Meanwhile, he sent his two
younger brothers to Canada to study engineering in 1988. As he had to live
in Calcutta for 3 years he left his children in a Delhi boarding school.
In 1991, he returned to Bombay as President of a reputed engineering
company. His wife will join him after their daughter, 15, finishes school.
One son, 19, is in Canada.

Mental state

Domineering and headstrong, the patient
easily gets impatient and irritated. A perfectionist to the hilt, he
insists the things to be done exactly as he wished, creating tension all
around.

Sleep-sound, no dreams, but difficulty
in waking up.
